SEMARANG- American corner UIN Walisongo Semarang held an English learning session entitled “English teaching and learning with Amcor” The event was held at American Corner UIN Walisongo Semarang, Monday (14/10/2024).

This event was held at the American Corner of UIN Walisongo Semarang, Monday (14/10/2024). The event was organized to find out how to learn and teach English that is interactive and fun but still can be understood easily by students. The event was attended by students from UIN Walisongo Semarang.

During the learning session, there is mutual interaction between the speaker and the audience. This attracted the audience who attended the event. The speaker also explained that in providing motivation to students, we are expected to analyze the needs of their students so that learning is not a burden for students.

The speaker suggested that we should not forget to use applications that can help learning English become fun such as using quiz, quizlet and interactive discussions. Do not forget to get into the habit of giving appreciation to students by using words and gifts to encourage students' enthusiasm.

Students tend to understand English more easily by playing games that aim to make students enjoy and focus on learning English with exciting games. It is hoped that with this event, it can increase student’s interest in learning English.

After all the activities were completed, then followed by a group photo session. The event ended after the Master of ceremony (MC) closed the event.
