The event which was attended by English teachers in Semarang presented the Director of Regional English Language, Rick Rosenberg as a speaker.

Rick shares several fun ways to teach English.

"We have a website called americanenglih.state.gov. There are fun games that teachers can adapt to teach English," he said.

Rick said, there are many sources of learning English that can be taught to students.

"There are lots of fun games such as trace travel, arrange words, guess pictures, board games, and many more," he continued.

The teachers immediately practiced a number of games that could be adapted in class. Here are the games:
1. Trace travel
This game consists of 3 rounds. This game aims to hone vocabulary
2. Game squares
Games are carried out by drawing dice. Then, the pioneer is run according to the number that comes out on the dice. Later the players will do the challenge on the game board.
3. Guess what?
There are several cards containing vocabulary in one place. Later, players guess each other's clues given by other players. This game can be used to teach descriptive text
4. Picture this
There are several objects in a card and several questions related to the objects in it. Then, players can ask questions while showing pictures
5. Word bricks
This game is played by arranging words into a sentence.

SMA 6 Semarang teacher, Suharno said that the games were good. However, it cannot be fully used because there is a syllabus and lesson plan that must be met.

"It's good for brainstorming and teaching some materials such as Narrative text to students. However, we have a syllabus and lesson plan that we must follow," he said.
