2. Dewi Indrajati, Office of Women and Children Provincial Government of Semarang
3. Atatin Malihah, DPC Peradi Semarang City
The first speaker, Masnu'ah explained about the paralegal Pratiwi foundation and several other foundations.
"A paralegal is someone who doesn't have a legal background, but is facilitated to get legal-related guidance so that later they can become companions for victims of violence," she explained.
This paralegal foundation assists victims of violence against women, minors, farmers, fishermen, people with disabilities, etc.
Atatin explained everything related to the TPKS Law to the flow of processing sexual violence and violence against children.
Currently, rape cases do not need witnesses. All that is needed is evidence in the form of the victim's clothes from head to toe. This processing can take up to 1 month until it ends up in the forensic department for follow-up.
According to Dewi Indrajati, from several cases, it was found that the perpetrators of sexual violence had a history of being victims in the past.
Dewi advised women to continue to be strong women and not to become victims. Also, for men, don't become perpetrators and don't also become perpetrators.
"For women, you have to be strong women and don't become victims. Also, for men, don't become perpetrators and don't become perpetrators too," she concluded.
