Before entering the holiday period, American Corner held an offline Drama Performance at the American Corner Building of UIN Walisongo Semarang, Friday (14/06/2024) at 09.00 WIB.

This event is free to open for public. Many students of UIN Walisongo attended the event for refreshment after passing the exams period.

The drama was divided into two sessions, the first session was a performance of "Rapunzel" while the second session was a performance of "Romeo & Juliet".

This drama performance was presented by the students of English Education 4D class to fullfil their final assignment. In addition, this drama performance is also one of the events to introduce American culture at UIN Walisongo Semarang, because the dramas presented are original American dramas.

The first session started with a performance of the drama entitled "Rapunzel". Rapunzel is a story about a girl with beautiful long golden hair who was locked up in a tower by an evil witch. The story goes on to tell us how Rapunzel defeated the witch and lived a happy life with her prince.

The moral value that can be taken from this Rapunzel story is not to be a thief and never give up on something you love.

The cast portrayed their roles so well that the audience was entertained by the drama.
